We'll turn most of our Biercafe taps over to Imperial IPAs to hop up your Labor Day Weekend. Saturday Noon-11PM. Sunday Noon-11PM Labor Day Monday Noon - 11PM. Special tappings each day to be announced.

Alaskan Brewing Tasting

Taste the great beers from Alaskan Brewing: Amber, Pale, Stout, White, IPA, Smoked Porter, & Barleywine. Double Black IPA & Barrel-aged 2009 Smoked Porter on draft.

Tuesday September 9, 6-8pm

Pike Tasting and Meet the Brewer

Pike Brewmaster Drew Cluley will be here to debut this year's Auld Acquaintance on draft. Taste Pike Dry Wit, IPA, Pale Ale, Naughty Nellie, Kilt Lifter, 5X Stout, Monk's Uncle in bottles. Also on draft: Pike Double IPA

Monday September 13, 6-8pm

Orval Night

Francois de Harenne, Orval's Belgium-based Ambassador & Export Manager will be here to talk about and pour tastes of this legendary Trappist ale. At 7PM Francois will give a formal presentation about Orval and take questions. Special offer during the event: Buy 2 bottles of Orval and get a very classy Orval glass free.

Tuesday September 21, 5-8pm

Blue Mountain Tasting

Taste Dry Creek, Eden Ridge, Farmstead, Raspberry, and Cranberry from this Milton-Freewater, OR based artisanal cider producer. Special offer during the tasting: buy two or more bottles and get a free glass (while supplies).

Beyond simply selling beer, Belmont Station seeks to educate our customers and help expose them to the dizzying array of craft and imported beer available to us here in Oregon. We feel that a greater understanding of beer styles, brewing regions, and brewing methods leads to greater appreciation of our favorite fermented beverages.

To facilitate this we offer free tastings, "Meet the Brewer" nights, "Theme Weeks", and other special events such as symposiums covering various styles or regions. These events are an excellent way to learn about beer and the brewing process, meet some of the folks responsible for creating your favorite beers, and (best of all) try some free samples of their wares.

Over the course of the last year we provided free samples of over 400 different beers to our customers. How many did you taste?

Belmont Station will often offer specials or sales on the tasting beers during the events. Unless otherwise noted, all tastings are free and open to everyone over 21 years of age.
