Along with the BA Bonanza we will be hosting the raffle drawing for our fundraiser (going on now until the 20th) for the Max Baer Fund through the Fraternal Order of Eagles. Max Baer was a former heavyweight boxing champion that was an active member of the FOE. When Baer died due to a heart attack in 1959, the Eagles created a Heart Fund as tribute to his legacy. This fund goes towards research for diabetes, heart disease, kidney disease, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, spinal cord injuries, cancer and aid for neglected and bused children and the elderly.
You can find the reverse raffle behind the bar. Like our fundraisers in the past, each $5 donation earns you a chance to win one really awesome prize provided by Fremont Brewing.
