Brujos will be in house along with some of their closest friends, Living Haus Beer Company & Great Notion. In fact, owner and founder of Brujos Brewing, Sam Zermeño, has brewed previously at both Great Notion and Living Haus.

Brujos has become one of the more sought after breweries in Portland these days. They recently opened their own brick and mortar in the old Bridgeport Brewing location where you can score some of their very elusive cans.

Where did the name Brujos come from?

One day early on in Sam and his brothers homebrewing days, they were crouched over a steaming brew kettle when their father stepped outside to join them and said “Look at you two! You look like brujitos making magic potions.” In Spanish, brujos means sorcerers or warlocks; brujitos “little sorcerers.” Sam knew then that he’d found the name for his future brewery.
