We have a special evening this Friday with Xicha Brewing and Prairie Artisanal Ales!
Xicha Brewing (chee-chah) is the Pacific Northwest’s only Latinx brewery located in West Salem, Oregon. They aim to offer an inclusive, family-friendly cultural environment by creating community around high quality, fresh Latin American food and house-brewed European ales and lagers. Their goal is to honor Latin American traditions while constantly seeking out opportunities where those traditions creatively collide with new ideas. You can find out more about them HERE.
Prairie Ales technically started under the name Krebs Brewing in 1995. Krebs is the oldest brewery in Oklahoma! In 2012, Prairie Artisanal Ales was founded by two brothers who joined Krebs Brewing to make Prairie's first beer called "Prairie Ale", A Belgian style saison. In 2013, they brewed the first batch of Bomb!, Prairie's flagship imperial stout. And in 2016, Krebs and Prairie jointly became one and became the Prairie Ales we know today.
