Sticky CANS: Block 15 Sticky Hands Cans Release Party

Wednesday, Oct. 7 | 5-7 PM

Dreams really do come true! Block 15's Sticky Hands IPA is heading our way, and this time, it's coming in cans! Yes, friends, that means you can take this precious liquid with you wherever you go! We are pretty stoked about the news, and Block 15 is too! Here's what they said: "We are super excited to get this fantastic hop experience ale into cans!" And we are honored to be the only spot in Portland that Block 15 has chosen to help them release their Sticky CANS! Join the Block 15 crew for the big party! Not only will we be selling Sticky Hands cans in the bottle shop, but in the tap room, we will have a "small but kickass" (as Block 15 put it) draft list of some special Block 15 beers curated by the brew crew to complement those Sticky cans.

Here's what we will be pouring:

Sticky Hands - Hop Experience Ale: This experience ale features ample additions of sticky, resinous, lupulin packed hop buds grown in the Pacific Northwest. Enjoy a hop decrescendo that begins with an aromatic blast of tropical fruits, citrus and dank herbs, transitions into intense hop flavor and then ends with a balanced bitter finish, gently propped up by pale malted barley and fermented with our privately banked English yeast. 8.1% ABV

Bad Fish IPA: This incredibly drinkable IPA was brewed with a sublime combination of American and New Zealand hops backed by organically grown pale malted barley and a whisper of wheat. We implemented a unique kettle steep of Citra and Simcoe hops which provides juicy flavors and aromas while restraining bitterness. Double dry hopped for balanced citrus, floral, and tropical hop notes. 7.75% ABV

Super Fly Rye: Hoppy Rye Ale Our fall inspired rye ale is brewed with 25% malted rye and dry hopped with Amarillo and Citra. Super Fly Rye pours dark red hue with a light, off white head. Bursting aromas of grapefruit, cracked pepper and citrus. Full hop flavor with a dry balanced bitter finish. 7.3% ABV

Consortium V:IPA with Falconer's Flight & Zythos. This IPA series features a partnership between two unique hop varieties working toward the common goal of creating a new hop experience. Each specifically chosen variety contributes hop oils to the beer that when combined express unique characters. For this Consortium we chose to utilize 2 blended hops, Falconer’s Flight and Zythos. Aromas of tropical and grapefruit upfront fade into flavors of pineapple and mango with a light piney finish. 7.2% ABV

Millennium Falcon: A Celestial IPA Brewed with Millennium hops for bittering and Falconer’s Flight Hops for flavor and aroma. Maris Otter& European specialty malts form a solid malt base. Pours a rustic red with a beige head. Bursting hop aromas of citrus & spice, big hop flavor with malt balanced and bitter finish. 7.3% ABV

Cardinal Coalescence Krieken: A blend of young and old Flanders style reds conditioned with Oregon cherries. The Cardinal highlights careful blending of old sour beers matured 2-3 years in brandy barrels and gently sweet young beer bursting with cherry character. 6% ABV
